Just an fyi friends, I have just gotten back from spending ten days in Jimani, where a hospital was set up to treat earthquake victims. It was the craziest, most exhausting, sad, interesting, eye-opening experience I've probably ever had. Haiti needs so much help, and will need help for quite some time. I promise I will update soon with some descriptions and stories, so keep checking in!

Hi Brianna,
We met in July when St. Peter's Church came to your batey to give out donations and run a one-day medical clinic. I was in the clinic. Anyway, we're getting ready for out visit this July, and I'm deciding what goes in these small boxes that each person will receive. Last year, we filled them with tissues, toilet paper, bandages, toothpaste, soap, antibiotic ointment, washcloths, toothbrushes, pens, and a candle. We debate about including feminine pads and condoms. Any advice? What do they need most? If you have time for a quick reply, that'd be great. You can reach me at essay4dr@gmail.com. BTW, I love your blog!
